THE COOK was restored by Lobster Films in collaboration with Film Preservation Associates, from two incomplete nitrate prints in the collections of the National Library of Norway and the EYE Film Institute (Netherlands). Unfortunately, the end of the film is still missing. Intertitles are reconstructed according to the original Paramount title design and translation of the original foreign cards. 35mm printing: Haghefilm Laboratories.
